On my old Like 125 I had fitted a Philips City Motovision globe (same as what Stig uses) which is brighter and has an orange tinge to it which is suppose to make it more visible to other road users but since my new Like is orange I thought that it might lesson the affect so I am going to try a Philips BlueVision Moto globe so it stands out better. Will give a review of it when it arrives and is fitted. As we all know the original light is not the greatest.

Heck, anything which might improve our safety out there!
Snow has arrived....too cold to do anything but plug in the battery tenders. Not touching the plastics...

Purchased this from ebay so will take a few days to get here and a few more for me to fit it. Will try and get some photos of the original globe and the BlueVision globe to see the difference.
Philips also make a led 5w/21w rear globe that I am interested in fitting but has anyone here replaced a globe on a LIKE rear light?

Well, never repaced the rear bulb, but have had it out. Have a DIY on wiring up a Bestem case on my LIKE200I.
This involved dealing with the bulbs & wiring back there.
Lay on back after removing rear mud flap. Black plastic cover panel up under fender comes off, revealing bulbs and holders, turn to remove holders.
Been a couple years, but my top case DIY probably has better instructions. "Bestem 929 box install ...."

Well it is fitted and here are some daylight photos, first is original and second the blue vision. Will need to see how it looks at night. Also fitted the new led rear light globe. (thanks Stig for the info on how to do it)

Well I have ridden a couple of nights now with the new globe and whilst I find it lights up the road ok it does not seem too bright when looking at the headlight when in front of the scooter. I am going to purchase another Philips city vision globe and will fit that. Stig will confirm that it does a great job.
