Greetings to all!
I have been lurking around and finely registered. I am looking to purchase an Xciting 250Fi, but the dealer has not got them in yet. I live in Florida and most of the Kymco Scooters are not in the showrooms, they are all waiting for shipments.
Does anyone have an idea when they will arrive?
I recently got my Motorcycle endorsements, cleaned out the garage( it was in desparate need :o!!) all I need is the scoot!
Anyone have any suggestiong on accessories?

I spoke to KYMCO USA, 5 Stan Perkins Road, Spartanburg, SC . They report that they believe that shipments to dealers should start arriving by the 2nd week in July. They are not sure what will be delivered; Fuel Injected or Carberator Models. I have my name in at 3 dealers in the area ... hopefully this will all work out.

I called one dealer today and they expect to get 2 new People S 250's in at the end of this week. They expect the rest-- including the Xciting 250Ri to be in by the end of the month!!!!!

My local dealer isn't ordering any. Says it's too small an engine for its weight. Steering towards GVs and S250.

While the 250 is pretty close to the same weight as the 500 and I can see people coming to that conclusion, but the 250 motor will haul the xciting body around just fine. Since Kymco recalled the 500's CDI the 500 really doesn't have that much greater top speed but probably pulls less RPM getting there. Not sure on the FI models yet though. I think both are good bikes though. I would like a 500 for long distance touring.

HI, Where are you from in Florida. I got an Xciting 500 and love it. I live in Melbourne. Our local Kymco dealer is out of any kind of Kymco scoots other than two 50 cc jobbies. I was on a waiting list for a GV, but got tired of waiting, so I bought one off ebay. Got a 2007 with o nly 2000 miles. I had a Honda Silverwing whin I lived in Pa, but sold it when I retired and we moved to Florida. Good luck in your quest.

Hi there the 250i's arent going to be taken for deliver until august i'am getting my order for the 500i's in this week, I already have 1 white one sold ;D

How do you now such things? Are you a dealer? If so what state? I have been in contact with my dealer and said late July? Your Thoughts??

I'am sorry yes i'am a dealer have been since 04'' I was told the 250i's would be in the first part of august but the 500's where avialable. For some reason the 250's didnt make it in time atleast thats what there telling me. I should get first deb's when they are in since i went to the dealers meeting and did my booking program then.

So far not Scooter, I have contacted a few dealers in the area and they are all saying mid to later August- you were right. Hopefully I will be scooting around town before Sept!
