Title: Thinking of getting the Like 200i

Hey guys,

I am shopping around for a Scooter and saw the blue color on the Like 200i (reminds me of the Dodge Viper).  Is the Like 150i not sold in U.S.?   Does the 200i have ABS brakes? I am from New York, if anyone has any recommendations for a good dealer, please let me know.

Hello and welcome, the Like 200i is the current model in the US but will be replaced by the Like 150i some time next year. I suppose that Kymco wants to clear out as much existing stock before putting the new model in showrooms. The Like 200i does not have ABS but the dial disk brakes fitted are VERY effective. The 200i is a fine scoot and perhaps you can get a good deal on one since it will be replaced. The newer model will have about 2 more BHP but the 200i (really a 163cc) does well with 11.3 BHP especially in city riding.

Well, we keep hearing, "soon!"
Now there is speculation that we won't see the new model until early next year.
My dealer has no clue.
While other USA dealers are taking deposits now, on the new model.
If in no hurry - the new model has more to offer.
The new model was named "scooter of the year" by some reviewers.....we just don't know which year !!
