Title: Dealer not stocking the new LIKE150I

Was at my mega dealer to buy a new sprocket nut for the popular 
YAMAHA YZFR6... a nut that is to be replaced each time it is loosened (new sprocket or chain installations)...ie > they should have a box full for the serv. dept to use. "Sorry, we don't stock that part." (so, bought online)
But spoke with a salesman regarding the new LIKE150I. He had never heard of it...but said if I'd put down a deposit he'd get me one in a week.
I said that most buyers would like to see and sit a scooter before purchasing. Maybe even select a color.
I tried to sell it to him....that it is a handsome all new design, very Vespa shaped bodywork. New improved engine with better power, LEDS, and most importantly the super combination of 2 wheel ABS and a sticker price well under $3000 !!
He, said he'd be in his office if I'd like to make a deposit...after reminding me of the Great Scooter Crash of 08/09. Said they'd "finally" sold their 14 gen one LIKE200i's.
Ah, well. Some day I'll see the new ones.

*no I don't expect much as a scooter owner. Really I don't. That's OK...but not to carry that nut for a super popular bike is....discouraging.

It is TRUMP'S FAULT your dealer doesn't stock that nut!

I suspect if they actually tried to sell scoots they might have moved those Likes more quickly.

I'm still at a loss as to why dealers don't work with scoots more at least as a gateway to bigger bikes. 

Are the margins too thin to do anything with 'em ya figger, or is it just beneath 'em to sell something that's not a "real bike"

The Like 150's have yet to arrive in the country yet, your dealer doesn't have them.

Yup my bad. Made a call and they are 17s !
Just figured next to the 300s and spades they were 18s

My 2018 Piaggio was produced in May, 2017, unboxed in Ohio and arrived at Tim Hortons in August?
