Title: It's been real and thanks for everything. PICS of new ride.
Post by: InfernoST on July 10, 2010, 01:46:59 AM
Hi Guys
I want to thank everyone for their help and for a great forum as I will probably be selling my Yager because I picked up a 08 Burgman 400 today. If anyone is interested I will post some pics of it tomorrow if It doesn't rain. I'll be around but probably not as much until I get all the questions in my head about the Burgman answered. Thanks again all.

I wouldn't begin to fault you for jumpin on a BEAUTIFUL SCOOTER like that!!!  Wow!  From what I've read, Burgman owners love their scooters!

Thanks Guys.

You're right Hoolander2 about Burgman owners loving their scooters. I took a train from Brooklyn to Atlantic City to meet with the seller and drove it back 130 miles NON-STOP with no problem. Cruised at 75 without breaking a sweat, smooth ride and extremely comfortable seat (No lower back pain nor NUMB BUTT syndrome). Yeah, I'm hooked and do love my Burgman. ;D

I will be curious to see what kind of gas mileage you will be getting.  also curious as to the max speed you can do with the 400

sooooooo when are you going to do this mod?

From AC, NJ to Brooklyn, NY I averaged 62 mpg and that was traveling at 75mph indicated. The previous owner filled the tank and put 50 miles on it before I picked it up and drove it back to NY without filling up. I filled up back in Brooklyn the next day. Mind you that is a very conservative 62 it is probably higher.

The first one is interesting but the second one I believe is reserved for 650 owners, DARN. :)

I just passed a used burgman for sale today while heading to sisters for a swim in the lake......  but the owner musta removed those mods and kept them for himself  ::) :D

P.S. it only had 1300 on it... but did not slow down enough to read the small print.

mmmm I read that it has enough space under the seat for at least on hottie.... makes me jealous! not sure why kymco's 500 could not be that big, except lack of design.....

I actually saw a Burgman 400 the other day and thought it looked pretty super. It should be a real performer if the Yager does as well as it does on 175 cc. The Burger even had an OAT (outside air temp) display. I suspect and accuse Kymco of a little copying given the high tech panels and styling....
