Title: Super 8 signals....
Post by: briandrum on July 09, 2010, 09:52:06 PM
Has anyone or does anyone know, or post a link on how to change out the stock American signals to the "blank" or "dummy" signals?

Oh, and thank god it's Friday....after this EXTREMELY HOT week, this High Life never tasted better!!!!! ;D

Thanks!

Ha! I don't have pics but pretty simple just pop the front cover and dummy caps.Remove sigs and pull wire out of holder. Will have to drill holes in dummies and use your bulb and reflectors down there, had to grind my reflectors to fit, stuff in holes and they work great on the 5 i have done so far.Open it up and take a look plenty of stock wire to fit for my people's.

I owned my Super 9 for about 6 hours before I did this exact mod. I like the "rest of the world" turn signals SO much better. I used #194 lamps in front and larger lamps in the rear, 1057 or whatever that number is.
BTW- anyone know of a source for the older Super 9 taillight lens with clear turn lamps, besides looking at the dealer?
