Hey all. Thanks for letting me join. Been reading as a guest for a while about the 450I.....pulled the trigger last week and should be here for delivery early next week. Got to drive a 2016 450 and also the AC Prowler 500 and am really excited about my purchase. I've always owned ATV's so pretty stoked for my first UTV. Should be great for the family, trail rides, and work around the property. Thanks again for all your info guys.

welcome to the asylum, you will be surprised what the little 450i can do. I use mine as everything from a tractor skidding logs to a vehicle to run local errands (gets better than 40mpg on the street) I even get in a little trail riding now and then

Wow your getting 40mpg?? What speeds on the street are you going? Best I have done is a litte over 20 but that is not onroad. With that kind of mpg I might think about making it street legal......
-
I'm very excited to put it to the test! Would have got it late last week but dealer refused the shipment due to tons of shipping damage to the crate. Probabaly a good idea.
Can't get away with a whole lot of on road driving here but for chores firewood hobby farm stuff it should be great. We have a cabin in southern Missouri and you can ride on all of the county roads there

here in NH, we have a category of street registration called "special commercial" not anyone can get them, they are not for recreational use, I'm a land surveyor, and have it registered in my business name. Limitations are that I can only use it on streets with speed limit of 40mph or less, 10mile radius from my office and 2 miles from a job site (that would be hard to enforce on my business, I get survey jobs everywhere in the state) I need to display a tractor triangle and have a rear view mirror, no requirement for lights, turn signals, windshield ot DOT tires

Welcome to the board!!. You must be purchasing that from my dad and uncles dealership, Motorcycles and More in Marthasville MO! My father told me last week that happened. What a freakin bummer that was. I guess you liked driving my camo edition I had there. You made the right choice by choosing the Kymco over the Cat. Smart man. let my dad or uncle know if you need any Off Road Body Armor!

Yep that was me! Hahaha
I was impressed with your machine and agree I made the right choice. No reason to pay more for the name and the kymco still had a few things I liked that the cat didn't.
I've had a great experience with their shop so far. Thank you. Can't wait to get mine. Hopefully early next week!

Hey guys I took delivery tonight! Pretty excited didn't get to do much but got to drive around for an hour or so I'm in love. Does this thing have a flag mount?
-
Congrats glad you finally got it

For all of you non believers out there, I heard 2017450i brought his 450 home in the bed of his truck. he knows first hand it does fit.

It fits great! 2001 f350 crew longbed with a 1 ft toolbox. Without toolbox tailgate would have closed. Rear of the 450 doesn't even extend out past my truck. Tires are just barley on the tailgate.

If it fits, it ships!

It’s a great little machine, you will really enjoy it. Word of caution, Check that your diffs are filled. My front one came empty, not sure if manufacturer or dealer dropped the ball there.

It does not come with a flag mount, I bought mine on e-bay for 12 bucks in machined aluminum painted black. It attaches to the vertical roll bar any way you want to put it. Has socket head cap screw to tighten, nice mount and sturdy. I have snapped off 3 flags so far and not a scratch on the mount!! Do keep us posted on your machine and how your getting along with it..

Thanks guys.
Will double check the diffs.
I'll look into that flag mount. Thx. Just got it zip tied on right now.
Really enjoying the machine. Aligned the front end tonight. Was pretty far toe in.
Put a windshield, soft top, rear view mirror, and rear seat so far. Fam is loving it too and so cool it fit in my truck.
