If you do a Google search on
"Kymco blog"
(in quotes, as shown)
... where does KymCojones (kymcojones.blogspot.com) show up in the search results for you?
THANK YOU in advance!

Thanks! I didn't know if it was showing up that way for me because of my Google accounts, cookies, etc, or not. That's why I was asking for others to check and report back.
I'm about to send a nastygram to KymcoUSA, asking why I shouldn't solicit Genuine or SYM to take one of their comparable bikes and report on the #1 Kymco blog about my 17,000km experience with it, vs. the People 250...

1st Congrats. I know this is OT, but did you ever try removing the thermostat to se if that helped at all with your overheating issue?

Yep. That's not the problem. It's the frickin' head gasket, again, dammittohell.

And again, thanks to you folx for double-checking the search results for me. I really wasn't looking for any atta-boys -- I thought maybe my Google search results might be affected by the fact that Google has its tentacles all up in my bidness, so to speak. :) Several Blogger blogs (owned by Google), Gmail, etc. etc. et al.
And, geez... the People 250. *sigh* It's enough to make me wanna slap grandma, right now. I'm seriously going to talk to someone at KymcoUSA and see if they want to salvage their relationship with the KymCojones guy. Else one of the competitors will get that opportunity... on that blog, of course. I've had enough. Life is too short.

It seems to jump around. Last night, it was #1 as "Kymco blog" -- now, I only see it as #1 if I remove the quotes. Oh well... hopefully the point is strong enough to make that loyal, happy customers are good for one's business... even more so when the customer has a big soapbox.

It's a perversion of my actual name, hung on me by a young co-worker at a Fortune 100 company, after noting what a politically-savvy diplomatic sombitch I seemed to be, to him. :)

In other news, one of the competitors has nibbled at the bait. Now we just have to work out the down-n-dirty.

Don't know if this helps page 6 on bing without quotes
-
Not really, but thanks just the same. :)
I've let KymcoUSA know that if they don't want to make amends, one of their competitors is willing, given all other factors. We'll see. Either way, I'll be riding something else in a week.

I'm sure the SH150i is an excellent bike... but as you say, at the price of a Vespa, maybe not such a great value, even if it lasts for 20 years. Plus, I do have the occasional need to jump on the interstate.
