Title: drive belt

I was comeing home from work today and noticed when I come to a stop then take off the
drive belt feels like its jerking the bike a little is that something I should worry about. Or could it be the extra hot weather we are haveing right now its been in the high 90° the new belt only has about about
300 miles on it.same for the variator.

I had a similar problem on my P150.  I used some emory paper to remove the glazing on my clutch pads and cleaned the clutch bell up with some denatured alcohol and it then ran like new!

..at the least, you should take a look in the cvt, just to make SURE nothing is amiss....

..wat size belt are you runnning?

Ok I took my case off to clean the clutch and the belt .but I do have one screw that got sritpped out .its on the left bottom a small washer goes with it so I cant put that back on . so now I have a little noise comeing from the scoot everytime I starte it is that why.IM thinking because that washer not on it it opens the case so I just can here the starter hit .the scoot starts and runs fine its just that I can here that nosie that the starter makes when it hits is that ok.

..i'm not sure about that washer...my a50 has no washers on the fasteners that hold the cvt case...

..there is, however, a thrust washer that goes on the end of the starter bendix, that would seat against the cvt case....

It would be a good idea to get the bolt back in if you can, though it is only one bolt being where it is it does maintain strength in the case near the starter. If the alloy is stripped you can use a helicoil, I have used them and found them to be very good, in fact I believe their claim is that they are stronger than the original thread.

ya that was it im all good the washer fell off the scott when I took it apart but was lucky and found it stell laying in the bottom of the cover how lucky is that. thanks guys this fourm is so good with help with others I love wish the scoot club that I ride with would learn to help others .
