Title: People 50 Hard starting
Post by: DennyB on July 19, 2017, 06:21:53 PM
Hello all,

I have a KYMCO People 50 2 stroke that is difficult to start after it sits for a day.
When I hit the starter button It fires then dies.
I give 3 pumps on the throttle and the same thing happens. It takes many times for it to sit and run.
I choke off the air inlet and sometimes it helps other times it doesn't.
It gas a new plug.
It runs great when running and starts with no problem after it has been running. Even later that day.

Thanks,
Denny

Assuming the valves aren't a tetch tight I'd start by checking the vaccum lines, then check the auto bystarter.
