Title: Performance Air Filter for B&W 250? Also spark plug...

Hi folks. I can't seem to find an air filter other than the Kymco stock. K&N apparently doesn't make one for it. Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes a high performance filter for the B&W?

Also, as soon as I can figure out how to get the spark plug out (HELP!), I'd like to change it with one better than the NGK that's in there. NGK is great, but I can't seem to cross reference to a platinum or iridium type. Is there such thing for a scooter?

..i'd be surprised if K&N doesn't have one to fit...

..you need to know the O.D. of your carburetor's intake port, in millimeters....

..go to the K&N website and cross reference that dimension to whatever style of K&N that will fit in the space you have available for a free-flow filter..ie: oval, tapered, round etc. ...

..i'd put money on them having one that will fit your scoot...


..keep in mind that if you go to a K&N, you will also need to increase the size of the main jet in your carb...to keep the fuel mixture from becoming too lean...

K&N also CUSTOM makes filters for a small extra fee. Denso is the company for your plug. Go to the Denso site, and cross refference to the iridium off the ngk #

Ok... 2.5 years later, I am also having a difficult time finding an air filter for a 2004 Kymco Bet&Win. I found the Gates belt (PL30904) and Dr Pulley sliders (23x18 - I went with 19gm over the 21gm set), but no air filter (either stock or performance) and I haven't really even looked for a spark plug yet... so to reopen this topic. I tried the links. No currently useful. Other ideas? Thanks. Ryan
