How many folks have read the specifics of your 2 year Kymco warranty?
For my 2012 LIKE200ILX, this was the warranty period:
All parts and repair labor for the first 365 days.
Engine and electrical parts and labor for the first 540 days.
Engine parts and labor for 730 days.
Emission control system warranty for 50-169cc class scooters is 5 yrs or 7,456 miles.
(170-279cc class is 5 and 11,185)
(280cc and up is 5 and 18,642)
I wonder what parts of a scooter are included in the emissions control system?
Anyone....?
And, is your Kymco warranty the same as mine?

Same as mine, dug through stuff to find my owners information, wonder where I got that wrong. Good thing you posted this up. My electrical problems are covered 100% as I'm only 464 days in to ownership. What majorly sucks is that my bike and the guy in Escondido needs the same parts (crank sensor and trunk light) and we each only have 5,000 miles on them. Am I going to have to replace these again in another 5,000 miles?

If emissions parts coverage is the same as an automobile, some of the parts with the extended coverage are the catalytic converter and the engine computer. Federal law requires it.
