Been watching it on the news for two days now. They are still looking for the biker, I've done that same thing before when a car  started coming over on me. Not smart and I'll never do it again. Age has mellowed me, thank God, and now I just back off. Never a good idea to ride in some one's blind spot. That biker almost bought the wall. Biking comes with a certain element of risk and danger and we are all responsible to do all we can to keep those elements as low as possible.

Yipe! I commuted 110 miles roundtrip when I was working in Cali for many years. I lane split every trip. But in the carpool lane, you don't split between the car and the wall!

Looks like a nightmare from any angle I've got here...

And it appears to be lite traffic, too !

We've got excessive heat/temp warnings all around here...  the already stressed commuters will be even worse.

Exercise even more caution than what might be usual.
