Title: Short Bike Ride

Another sort of short bike ride yesterday down the coast with a few photos including a container ship entering the Port. Some photos of the Japanese Fishing Village Memorial on Terminal Island in the Port of Los Angeles. It's no longer there due to the internment of Japanese Americans during WWII.

Nice sunny coastal scenery, MJR.

Did you feel the port was busy ?

With Hanjin going under, I'm wondering what will happen next.

Dunno I don't pay much attention to the goings on. I'd imagine others would snap up parts of their business.

Yet the cost of bunker fuel is what it is.

The crane on vacation is some sort of indicator, too.

Possibly...  Still a lot of dated infrastructure, well, almost everywhere !

I've watched youtube videos on huge port expansions in Singapore and Shenzhen...  they are amazing !

I am forced to admit their productivity is beyond my comprehension, though I do try to grasp it's scope.
