Title: headlights flickering?
Post by: Horserider on June 14, 2017, 09:44:38 PM
Hi all, I have a kymco people s 125 and when idling only (not moving), my headlights alternate between bright and not so bright for about 5 seconds each... but when I ride it's always bright. Is it supposed to be like this? Part of the design?

I remember my dad's Vespa had lights powered directly by the Dynamo and they would get bright/ dim with the engine revs. The Vespa did not have a battery. May not be the case with the Kymco

From what I've seen most bikes don't charge at or little at idle.
