-
Welcome to th' Forum!!
..you can de-restrict your cdi...
..could you post a pic of your cdi unit, or tell us what the color of the wires are that are connected to it?
peace
-
THANKS FOR THE WELCOMING.I DON'T HAVE A PICTURE RIGHT NOW BUT I GET SOME AND I AM UPLOADING.I HAVE SEE SOME CDI UNRESTRICTED.I MUST TO BAY SOME OF THIS AND CHANGE MINE OR I HAVE TO CUT SOME WIRES?SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH.
-
..dont worry about the english bro..
..it's all scooterese...
..cut either of the pink wires that go to your cdi...
..I saw that on the other thread...
-
..if your wiring looks like this, just cut and tape either of the pink wires...
-
HAHA.OK.THANKS FOR REPLY.YOU ARE TOO FAST.HAHAHA.SO IF I CUT ONE OF THE 2 PINK WIRES?WHAT DOES HAPPEND?I TURN OFF SOME CUTTERS?IS THIS SURE ΟR This will stop IS THE CURRENT Bikes; AND WHAT EXACTLY is achieved by cutting this cable;
-
..cutting the wires eliminates the cdi units rev-limitng function..
..lets your scoot's engine rev around 9000 rpms...
..thousands of people are doing it..you'll love it!!!!
-
I DON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEM.RIGHT?AND I DON'T MUST TO BUY ANOTHER CDI?RIGHT?AND HOW MANY KM/H I AM GOING FASTER?DO YOU KNOW?
-
AND SOMETHING ELSE. CDI IS IN THE BOX WITH THE BATTERY,RIGHT/?
-
...yes, it's beside the battery..
..and it should get you close to 80 kmh...especially downhill...
-
AHA.THANKS.HERE IN GREECE DON'T KNOW VERY WELL.HAHA.SO MY ENGINEERING SAYS TO ME THAT HE PULL OUT THE CDI CUTTER BUT I DON'T SEE ANY WIRE IS TO CUT.SO I CUT THE WIRE ALONE.RIGHT?AND AFTER?WHAT OTHER SETUP CAN I DO TO GO MORE FASTER?

After that you can get into a free flo air filter to replace the stock air box, and a larger main jet in the carb. This takes a little effort to get right, but it will gain alot of low end torque, and give you another 4-5 mph top end. Search some of the older posts on carb jetting, and you can decide if this is something you want to tackle. After that an exhaust system, and cvt tunning can add better response, and a few more mph. It's alot of fun tunning these little scoots to perform, but it does get a bit involved until you see how it all works together. Start off w/ the cdi, and figure what you want the scoot to do from there!

please help my friend.i do it.i am cutting one of the two pink wire but i don't see any difference...
-
You will only see/feel it going full throttle. Since you already did the boss you may not see the difference as easily. What that does is reduce the max rpm's the engine can turn. Once cut the engine can reach it's full rev's. If you add lighter rollers to the variator you will see the difference. Your cvt has 8.5 gram rollers in it from the factory. Most people prefer 6-6.5 gram to get higher rpm's, and better take off.
-
no i think that i have 6,5 gramm.and i have change the variatror bush but no difference.so where can i buy rollers??because here in greece nobody knows......
-
..yeah, yours is a 4t...6.5 is about right..
..try 5-5.5 gram rollers...
..you'll like them...
..google "variator rollers"...
..i think "monsterscooterparts" is in europe...
-
...wait...that's not it....
-
i have the mam variator.which firm i can buy?i cut the wire and i don't see any difference?and now?what about the wire?if i get light roller i have the same top end speed?because i want to more fastrer than now(60km/h),....????i need some espesialy tool for open variator?sorry for my english again.?
-
well?????please help me bros
-
SIP scooter parts is one of the best shops. You can go lighter on the rollers to increase your bottom end performance, and still keep the top end speed. To increase the top end you will need to open your intake system, and get an exhaust that matches your set up. http://www.sip-scootershop.com/EN/Products/P1400206/Rennzylinder+POLINI+68ccm.aspx (http://www.sip-scootershop.com/EN/Products/P1400206/Rennzylinder+POLINI+68ccm.aspx) This link will give you a few ideas
