Okay, so it's plainly obvious by now that I don't know anything. Now my scooter will switch on. The light comes on, the dashboard comes on, etc. However, it won't start. It wont' even click. Nothing As if the starter switch is not even real. Any idea what came unplugged or needs to be changed?
Thank you for tolerating my ignorance.

Two things needs to be changed...
1) Work on your ignorance a bit and read the owners manual. ;)
2) Pull one or both brake levers while pushing the starter switch. The brake light switches behind the brake levers also control the starter switch.
Therefore: no braking, no starting ;D
And maybe also check for a blown fuse.

Oh, I did that. I've been riding this thing for a couple of years now...that's why I didn't now what I'd missed. I just wasn't sure if the switch in the handlebars went loose, or if it could be an electrical problem. Thanks though! :D

We are all ignorant of something or another. If we weren't there would be no need to learn. A couple of months ago I was on a road trip on my Helix. I stopped to fuel up and it was doing the same thing as yours. Thought I was going to have to call a tow truck. After about 15 minutes of sweating a fiddling with things, I discovered I had left the side stand down! You cannot top that! Hope you get things worked out. :)

Dried my new LIKE200i scooter off with a towel after a downpour coming home from work.
Next day....sure enough "somedamthing got wet, now it won't start!!"
20 mins later, I noticed the towelling had flipped the kill switch to "kill"
"Sorreee for what I said about Pearl Harbor!"
(Yeah, I know....it wasn't the Taiwanese....still....)
Yep, check your brake light when you pull the brake lever. No light,,,? That little $2 switch is acting up. Try the other one?

YOU GUYS are AWESOME, thank you for the suggestions! I'm gonna go home and see if the brake light comes on! i'll let you know what happens.
-
Yeah, let us know please. It helps us all learn.

I pulled the brake levers and they both light up the brake light. So my search continues!

Just to make sure, did you check all the fuses?

Is it possible to bypass everything and use a jumper wire on the solenoid to verify it functions ?
check battery for full charge, low may still operate the instruments and indicators...
check ground strap connection.
bypass side stand and brake lockout circuits for test
Use a cable to bypass the solenoid and power starter directly to verify
good luck

I would tell my own ridiculous tale of MC that would not start but it involves alcohol consumption and was probably to be expected.
or running out of gas with a 5gal capacity tank... late at night, on a deserted roadway. Multiple times, of course.
or trying to figure some kind of reasonable way to push or pull a trike over a mile to a gas station...
Whew!

I think you are on to something with the battery Redk! I didnt even think about that, and its the most obvious!
-
RedK... that was it... the battery! It didn't have enough of a charge!! We put the battery charger on it and it started right up. Thank you, THANK YOU, so much for your patient, helpful answers!!
