Title: Anyone had a fuel pump fail?
Post by: Mr. Paul on April 30, 2017, 11:33:41 PM
Have any of you folks had a fuel pump fail, and if so, what were the symptoms. Did it go out all at once or was it an intermittent problem first?

This will be only a partial help....
If you determine that fuel pump indeed is failing....I bought from an American  co. on ebay a perfectly fine, matching, replacement for much less than the assembly cost from Kymco. I only replaced the pump itself,  with new HighFlow pump and filter. (@$65....yeah plenty of cheaper ones, but if I'm going all the way into the tank, better quality seemed wise. ) Pump was in the tank.

FYI, My symptoms of intermittent cutting out were actually due to a failing throttle position sensor.
