Post by: blue on April 13, 2017, 01:36:36 AM
Back in Dec.I had back surgery. Now that the nice weather is here im slowly geting back on the scoot and takeing short trips.I feel back pain after rideing for awhile so I need to take it easy and go slow .Im sure ill be back to rideing full time after a month or so.It just feels good to ride again.

I can identify blue. After I had a broken hip and then hip replace on the other one I thought my riding days were over. I sold my Geezer Glide and my Silverwing and hung up my helmet, or so I though. After 60 plus years of two wheeling it, it's not that easy. I started getting better with more mobility and then seen a deal on my DT300 and I'm back in the saddle again. Feels good too. I know what you mean. Take it slow and easy and before you know it you'll be back up to speed again. Ride safely

Congratulations! Just listen to your body, and don't overdo it. And you'll be just fine.

I think this makes us all addiction enablers, but it's a good kind of addiction. Blue, ride safe and take it easy.

Yeah, man! Good to hear! Now if I can just get this grass to stay cut for awhile, I'm gonna be a dot on the horizon!

Thanks for the warning.  ;)

Good news. Nothing like getting out on two wheels to lift ones spirits.

I had three heart attacks a few years back. Put me on the bench for awhile.
I`m back riding again and love every minute of it. We have had warm weather lately but rain with it. As soon as the rain move out, i`m riding.
Good luck and be careful.

Karl, I'll  mix you up a qt. of what l call "slow grow".....special yard formula for seniors.
Most of the ingredients are classified. ....but a hint: it is based around BP premium  gasoline!
(NO smoking during application....or within 1/8th kilometer )
My yard reminds many of the Bad Lands, minus the hills.

is it time to take the snow blower off and install the mower on the tractor, my grass looks frazeled  still ,it will take a few weeks before the grass needs cutting,
