Title: What are you using for oil drain pan for low clearance models?

I have been meaning to pick up an oil drain pan but my people s250 has really low clearance and is bottom drain. On stand only have about 8 inches floor to plug, that doesnt leave much room to remove plug by hand and also have a container in place. I have been dealing but dealing means making a mess because i have to slide something in place after pulling plug and that is never a clean process. So my ask if what drain pans / containers / other are you using for low clearance scooters?

I made my own drain pan from a cat litter container. You can also use an antifreeze container for an even lower profile. Just cut out the top panel with a razor and you're done. Works like a charm.

I did what Scooter Lar did but with a gallon oil jug. Works well, cheap and lasts a long time!

I use a low profile Tupperware tub. After draining I us a funnel to transfer the oil to a milk jug supplied by the recycle collector for pickup when full.

This is what I have been using though a gallon coolant bottle cut open would be low.

Thanks all, can definitely make something here work, love the tupperware idea as i am sure we have some old stuff that i can get rid of.

Walmart auto oil change pan. Has a pour lip fashioned on one edge - to help get the oil into a milk jug. My local county garage burns used oil in their winter garage heater. So I take the oil there.

  me too,.   but I left a flap on one side to lay over the rear tire keeps oil off it, gear drain to close to tire,

With both the Kymco xciting and Burgman I found plastic containers or aluminum roasting pans from the Dollar store that worked.  We aren't talking about a lot of oil. A plastic shoe box should work and if something happens to it, you only have $1.00 plus tax invested.
