Title: Kymco Ck1 125 2014 tail light access
Post by: kymcoRider99 on March 27, 2017, 06:46:31 PM
Hi, I have a Kymco CK1 125, 2014 model and the brake light has stopped working, however the tail light is still fine. I have found out that the brake light filament has blown so I need to geat the bulb out to replace it however I cannot seem to see how to get it out. Does anyone know how to access the rear bulb?

Thanks

Would this not be in the owners manual?

Nope, my manual gives not hint  to bulb replacements.
On my Kymco,  under the rear fender, is a black rubber/plastic cover held in place on one end by a couple of those push/pin panel clip/rivets. Laying on back, with flashlight, I  removed that panel and found the taillight bulbs. Twist to remove.
You might have to remove license  plate  rear fender thing to see under there.
Hope your scoot is similarly built.

Wasn't sure, I tried to find a owners manual online to look but couldn't find one. I also looked at photos of the bike and for a service manual, no luck either. If you were local I'm sure I could figure it out looking at it in person.
