What happened? You all right? That looks like a bad spill.
-
Was hit friday night on the right side nothing broken on me but lots of bruising and stiffness where car hit me and I flew onto hood it was a Fiat so of course it's probably totaled. . .I dont quite remember how it looked. . . .
-
Glad you came out of it relatively intact Pace! But the scooter, geez man I'm sorry. :'( Hopefully you can get a new one.
-
I will be picking something else up Weds but will be rebuilding this one case is gonna be to be split either crank or bearings are toast and engine rebuilt. About 75% of plastics gonna need to be replaced or repaired if possible I estimate about $1500 to get here back running and looking the way she did. Won't be quick or easy so probably gonna take a yr or so to do.

Glad you're just a bit bruised.
Did they stop or run? If the former, take 'em to the cleaners for a new one and the cost of your mods.
-
Awe poor scoot, glad your ok.
-
Bad week for Likes. Good you are reasonably OK.

Wow, we are all so glad that you are relatively okay, but so sorry to see your scooter banged up like that. I feel for you - had my first People 150 totaled, hit head on by a hit-and-run drunk, and I was WAY more worried about my scooter than about myself. Keep us posted on what happens. Jeez, what a bad turn of events....

I was the same way I got up once my head cleared pushed her out of the way of traffic and then laid back down till ambulance arrived. . .

What a bummer pace. Praise be to GOD that you weren't hurt any worse. You never said wither or not the car driver stopped or not. Hope they did and that they have good insurance. Our chosen passion has inherent dangers, no doubt. There will be brighter days ahead.

Wow the scoot looks pretty hashed; glad to hear that you are okay. It sucks that after all your great mods it comes to this. :'(

The driver did stop but our stories don't match up depends on the police report to see who is to blame. . .
-
Man! I'm glad you're here to tell the story. The damaged scooter is bad. And I'm not minimizing it. But I'm simply ecstatic that YOU aren't irreversibly damaged. I believe that everything will eventually right itself.

Glad you're up walking, talking and posting. Looks like a bad crash given the damage. If you were T-boned like that I'm inclined to believe the driver was at fault. More important is if he has insurance. It took me two weeks to get the police report when I had my crash. Wish I could say why it took so long. Hard to believe you didn't need a trip to the hospital, too. Looks more like a shark took a bite out of your bike.

Ugh, that's much of a no win situation. At best drawn out.
Like everyone else I'm glad you're still with us, & will be able to build another bike or rebuild this one.
I wish it weren't so, but drivers don't see us well even if we're in Hi Viz and have flashing lights..heck they don't see each other much either, just their phones.

Sorry to hear of your travails mate. You appear to have faired well in the crash and your scooter is re-buildable. I say praise the Lord and pass the donuts. Don't mean to minimize your plight, it's just they we usually hear of the ones that didn't turn out so well. Live another day Bro.
