What year was oil injection first offered on the People 50?

I am pretty sure all years had oil injection. The 2003 does. Check out page 46 of this service manual pdf;

Thank you. That is a big help as I am looking for reasons to buy the 2003 People 50.

go to motorscooterguide,net, has nice writeup on almost all scooters, including Kymco People 50.  these are great scooters IMO, I had 2005 People 50.  2003, if in good condition, should be a good one.  The early years, 2003 thru 2005 had less emission mods (exhaust pipe was better especially), so run better than years alter 2005 generally.

I like Heidenau tires, a new set really improved the ride, performance of my People 50.

I think $800 is a little high, but depends on where you are and the other available scooters, so maybe a good price in your area?  Good luck!
