Title: Arctic Cat 500 Prowler/Kymco 450 UXV parts interchangability

Will parts designed for the Prowler 500 fit the UXV 450?  Like Arctic Cat bumpers, for example?

Seems like a lot more accessories available directly from Cat, if they are compatible.

     Look carefully....the Kymco machine comes with a winch mount so why buy another? Look at the quality and cost of the rear bumber, ORBA sells their unit for less money and better quality.  Also keep in mind that you shelling out another 1500/2000 up front for the A/C.  It is your money...spend it as foolishly as you would like!!

Definitely considering the Kymco over the Cat machine.  Looks like the same thing for less $$$.  But it does look like Cat offers more accessories than Kymco, and if so.....I don't care who's label is on the accessories as long as they bolt up.

Compare retail parts pricing. Same exact part from Cat is more money than Kymco. For example check the belt prices. And I'm not anti-cat. I've been riding Cat sleds since switching brands in 1990.

My family sells both Cat and Kymco, so i get to compare the two quite often. The Kymco has a rear stabilizer bar, ebrake, adjustable steering wheel, winch mount plate, and a softer bench seat. I don't think Cat has any of these. All for about $1k cheaper.

   And they (ORBA) do make quality stuff!!  Far better than the junk you will be getting from some factory outlet!!
