Title: uxv500 thrown rod

Bought this atv threw a rod need parts seems like the kits on e-bay for kuzuma are the same????  Need to know!!! Need some help please.. Called Kuzuma dealer they want $1100  for crank,piston,cylinder  REALLY???

Call a kymco dealer. for the parts you listed
complete crank assembly - $300
Piston assembly-$95
cylinder - $130
These are approximates
If you are replacing the crank, piston assembly and cylinder you're going to need more parts, gaskets etc.
Give the dealer the VIN so he can look up your unit and be accurate
These are USA approximate prices

Some Kymcos use motors from various Chinese makers, like I'm running a gy6 motor in my Kymco Sento after grenading my original Kymco engine.  Chinese parts are MUCH cheaper than Kymco parts, but you have to do your research and the info is hard to find.  In my case, I finally took a guess and ordered a complete gy6 motor online, and it fit with only minor fiddling.  Saved perhaps $1000, so it was worth it.
