Well, that's the end of my riding season. >:( Just had 2 big storms in the last 3 days dumping about 6 inches accumulation of snow, and for the next 2 weeks, the highest high temp will be 22F, and the lows will be down in the zero F range. Luckily, both our scooters are now winterized and tucked into their spots in the garage at a comfortable 55F. Sure different than last year's winter, when I was riding clear through the end of January before we were hit with the white crud.
I know some of you are faring much worse than this, so I give you my heartfelt condolences on the end of your riding season. And for those of you lucky enough to be able to ride all year, please go out and enjoy a good ride for those of us stuck inside. (Hurry up, Spring!)
What are the weather conditions now where you live? Let us know what's going on in your area, please.

Yelp. this is gonna be a much colder winter this year. You wanna hear something really weird, The last two days have been in the 30 s and tomorrow, Saturday, its gonna be around 70, but with rain off and on. Then on Sunday back to the 30 s with chance of snow and ice. Ever heard of such? Maybe SAT. I can try to sneak in a short ride during one of the off's. I don't usually winterize my rides because I live in the Memphis area. I've had to turn on the air on CHRISTmas day. I usually go on a polar bear run down to the Mississippi River to watch the Ski Freeze, put on by the Memphis Ski Club. Those folks are nuts. Don't despair spring will be here before you know it.

Canadians are hearty souls, that's for sure. I lived for 3 years in Minot, North Dakota, and that was more than enough of the great white north for me.

That is pretty crazy weather, Mac. I would love to have a day in the 70s right about now.

Last 2 days in north Jersey have been pretty cold. 5 F real feel temperature with 35 mph wind. Got about 2-3 inches of snow, over night, still snowing now. Suppose to be in the mid 50's tomorrow, talk about crazy weather. Then back to freezing by Monday. May try to sneak a ride in tomorrow.

Last couple of days here in Georgia have been the lows in the mid 20s and the highs in the 40s or 50s. Next few days the lows won't be quite so low. I am blessed here because I usually ride year round unless there is a mention of ice or frozen precipitation.

It’s been pretty cold here in South Jersey with the the temps dipping in to the teens or mid 20’s. Snowed last night, a dusting really, but for people around here it’s the end of the world. I’ve never winterized my bike, but doesn’t look like I’ll be doing any Christmas shopping on the scooter this season. Stay warm and dry everyone,

Seems like everyone is having some real weird up-and-down weather. Thanks to everyone who has checked in so far - I always like to see what's going on with others in their neck of the woods.

I don't want to gloat (well maybe a little) but the weather has be remarkable here in the NE of Scotland....+10 degrees, dry.... Been taking the DT to work almost everyday and out at the weekends. It's forecast to be like this to at least Christmas day.
I'm sure we'll pay for it in January/February though!
Look on the brightside, the days start getting longer again next week.

Well everyone, we got up to 74 today. I rode the DT for over an hour, in a tee shirt. There is a cold front coming across the mighty Mississippi river as I write and by daylight it will be in the low 40's and Sunday night, 15 degrees. At least I got a bit of a ride in and it was soooo nice. Hang in there GLV55 and all who live in colder climates, it won't be long. In the mean time do some service, clean and wax, add some stuff and do some mods to enjoy when OUR time comes around again.
