Title: another fatality

a guy who works for me, and lives in my same town, just texted me to say his father in law was killed today on his motorcycle a few miles away.

Heck, I was out on my motorcycle today over the lunch hour....hate to see another rider lose his life.

Be safe out there, guys. Our hobby has risks...

Sorry to hear this news. The cagers just don't pay attention sometimes and cell phones have not helped. I always say a prayer for safety before I ride and thank Him when I get off. My prayers are with the family.

Sad news.
On very nice days around here , it is not uncommon to read of another big bike fatality due to a single vehicle accident.

Just saying, even when riding along open roads with no cars around - one still has to pay attention to the safe operation of the bike. Too much speed is too often a cause.

Yep rider error is #1 cause of single track fatalities. The learning curve never ends.

thanks, guys..found out he was riding his Harley on a 2 lane highway, pulled out to pass a car and lost control and went into the ditch. He's been riding for many years.

Scooter Dan said "the learning curve never ends"...so true...
