Ah Blue,
Sorry to hear that you have to park the scooter for awhile.
I can imagine how much you will miss it.
But, good decision to safeguard your health in the short term...it will be there waiting for you when you are 100% again.
Best wishes on the back surgery....
Please keep us posted if you get the time.
Regards,
Stig

I also had a problem this fall. Fall of the year is my favorite time to camp and ride my scooter.
In prime riding season I had kidney stones, the on top of that, had the shingles. It jerked the rug out from under me for over a month. Ended up at the emergency room because my kidneys were shutting down. I was not eating or drinking because I had no apatite because I was in so much pain. I got dehydrated in a hurry.
Hope things go well for you.
-
Boo, hope you’re doing better. Those sound like some serious medical problems. I can’t image how you’re dealing with the pain. Give it time and Spring will be here one way or another.

Not fun when they're on the move in there!!

Blue and Boo and the rest of you that went under the knife, may you recoveries be quick and complete. May the absence of riding make the experience more fond when you are feeling better.

I had that same condition (stuck stones) and surgery, Stig. Good grief, are we all falling apart? :o
Well, anyway, best of luck to Blue and Boo for successful surgeries and quick recoveries. Hope you're both back in the saddle again quickly.

Im on my feet again so I go out and start the scoot and let it run for awhile. Im getting around pretty good now so thinking of just bringing the scoot in the house to give it a D deal touch up job. clean it up and a good tune up so when the dr says I can ride again ill be ready to go. As far as my health my back brace is off and im on lower pain meds and ill be back to work in 6 weeks. Cant wait to be 100 % again. for those going threw any health promlems god be with you and take care of your self and speedy recover.

Good to hear, Blue! Keep on improving and we are right there rootin' for ya!

Good news blue. Sounds like your almost at 100%. Keep up the good work.
-
Glad to hear from you Blue! I have prayed for your recovery and look forward to hear you "back in the saddle" again.

I almost envy you guys (not really), but surgery can't help me. I have crushed and fused vertebras in 38 and 39. I hit the ground at about 35 mph on my rump, in a parachute jump gone bad.. After a broken hip and hip replacement I thought I'd have to hang up my helmet for good. But I've fought the "hump" on my DT300 so long, I do believe I'm getting better at it. Never give up, it is never an option I just made up my mind to refuse to lose. Now that I've said so much about scootering, I get to say this. The prayers didn't hurt anything either and you two guys sure have mine.
