Hello!
Since im a big guy i falled for this scooter and found one today that im able to testdrive for the weekend.
Im offered to buy this 2013 4000km in good shape for 2600usd.
Is that a good price?
The new ones now offered for 4150usd in Sweden.

Im 5,10 and i feel on the tall side for the scooter.
how tall are you ?
-
I am 6'1" and I was way to tall for the Downtown. :(
-
I am 6.4 feet tall
I tried it very fast yesterday and it felt good.
I willntake it for a long ride today and feel a little bit more.
-
If you feel comfortable on it and the scooter is in good shape. $2600, sounds like a real good price.

Ok,
So today ive made my first tour 1our with it and i love it.
Fells comfy and enough space for my legs.
Cons: the seat is a little bit "worn" down, feels as if you need more material in it.
The front fells a little bit nervous in speeds upp to 60km/h after that it stable.
I will buy it and hopefully i will take my license on Tuesday :-)

I bought the Downtown this Monday Monday and i also took my license yesterday :-)
So happy that i made the license , its quite hard and expensive here in Sweden and you can only make the drive test to 15 October,
after that you have to wait until May.
It seems to be a fine scooter.
Today ive bought : Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care to freshen up the scooter, it needed som love since it started to be fade grey.
Does anyone have som tip for the sadel , how to make it shine again? I dont dont want to use the Autoglym since i think it will make it slippery.
The only thing i dont like about my new love, is that when in low throttle (take away) its not so smooth , it fells as if the clutch having trouble.. hard to explaine in english, after take away its smooth and very alert. Any suggestion?
Ive had a Agility 50 before and mixture with DrPulley weights, Is that something do do with this mashine to make it better or should i stay with the orginal?
@Stig I will post pictures tomorrow after taken them in daylight :-)

Could be just the clutch bell needs a little sandpapering.
Sandpaper the clutch too, just lightly.
It can judder on pull away if there is to much clutch dust in there.

I´l guess il have to remove the clutch bell then?

Yes. 19 mm socket and a device to hold the bell from turning.

Havent got the time yet to open it, but took it to service today, to change oil, oilfilter, airfilter and a round check from the mechanic.
First trip to work today (50km both ways)
Not so funny in heavily rain and windy 18m/s.
I didnt take the highway because of it, only differs about 10minutes.
Better safe then sorry, need a little time to get to know the machine.
A funny thing today, the seller pumped the front tire in his garage because its leaking if it stays still for a long time, but he assuted med that the backwheel is ok.
Checked it today at the gasstation, 2.4 front, 0.9 in the back. No eonder is was feeling a little bit unstable. 😄

It looks nice. Just a couple of niggles I am sure. You will be in scooting heaven soon...

What xsel777 said x2. We have some real sharp techs on here when ever you may have problems. Nice bike! I am happy to say since I have one like that, too!
