Title: Like odometer is optimistic by 6.22%

The Like odometer is optimistic by 6.22% according to my GPS app. Today's ride had an odometer riding of 62.20 miles and a GPS reading of 58.33. I have tracked my mpg since the beginning and it averages 80.51 mpg. Given the optimism factor the true mpg is more like 75 mpg.

6% sounds about right, my car use to be 5% higher than a gps reading and I do recall either reading or being told that vehicle speedos can legally be as high as 10% more than the actual speed but can not show a speed lower than the actual speed or else they can receive a lot of trouble.
