Last night I had the first flight after winter with my belowed Xciting 500.
This morning I found out that the speedo had made a fulll 360,
the dial hand is on the wrong side of the little peg just below zero.
It´s alive as it moves upwards a little when I start moving, but it gets
stopped by the little peg, and won´t move any further.
Any ideas?
It´s an all electronic instrument.
It wasn´t me pushing her that hard ;D

I think there's gears inside and they jumped a bunch of teeth when the needle slammed one way or the other. The needle on an analog meter can get funny if there's a static charge on the face too.

Get someone to tow you backwards at 130 mph. . . . no, but seriously, I don't know. Sorry.

Well, found a solution.
Here it is,for others to find in case of the same problem.
The Speedo has to be reset in case of low battery or battery charging.
How to reset speedo:
1. Disconnect negative battery cable
2. Turn key to drive-position
3. Connect negative battery cable
4. Now the speedo shall reset at the right place
Thats all! :)

Hey, good that you found a solution, electric gauges are touchy things. What caused it? Did you charge your battery without disconnecting it?

Thanks for sharing the solution. Hope it's not needed some day.
