Would love to know how many KM"S to a tank of gas before my trip in the morning. Thanks! :)

count on fill up safely, 300 Km. local running around I go up to 340 Km. best mileage 410 Km. easy riding 80 Kmh. to 90 Kmh. don't know where Im going and where the gas bars are 260 Km.,

On my DT200.
max about 400km. That's 90% highway cruising at 100km/h. 10% neighbourhood.

300 Km sound safe, but it counts on how good your bike does on MPG. I am good here to about 201 Miles or 340 Kilometers. Usually though I only go about 100-110 Miles just to be safe. With the new screen again this may be altered somewhat.

I should note my last fill went down from 71+ MPG to 68.8. this was expected though.

What kind of petrol are you guys getting at the pump?
In Malaysia, we only have RON95 & RON97, which of course I use RON95 which is the cheaper option.

I always use 92 or better octane fuel. I find the bike gives better MPG with high test.

Mine went 170 miles (273 km's) before the flashing fuel gauge drove me mental and I was forced to pull in to fill her up. It took 11.5 litres, so I had one litre spare (according to the book anyway).
Mostly twisty A & B roads with a bit of town stuff. Loads of gunning it at the traffic lights and and hosing off cars in the process (the look on their faces after they realise it's not a moped 8)).
All in all, I reckon 67 mpg isn't too bad given the fun I have with it.

Not too many motorists realize these are full powered machines. Kind of fun to see their faces. The bad of that though is they expect you to pull off and ride the berm for them to pass and you don't.

I get easily 200 miles on a tank with the DT300i as I did with the original that was stolen and it had about 20000 miles on the odometer. OK, that's 320 km/tank with reserve. Look for a station at 300 km until you get a feeling for it.

PS: You probably already took your trip! I am always a day late, dollar short and off topic! TAN, it will be a cold day in a hot place before I yield to the berm. I will pull over and stop for a tailgater but won't ride to the right to let them pass. Few know where the right hand side of their car is anyway. Bet you don't either!

I would never ride the berm either. I am only saying the other motorists think you're going to do that because you have a slow bike. Tailgaters usually have the opposite desired effect with me. If you run up my butt I will slow down so that I have a lot of lead time between me and the vehicle in front of me. You have to ride to protect yourself.
