They look like they should fit most Kymco ignitions. There are many older Honda, Yamaha, and Kawasaki blanks that also fit. Just ride your scooter into a local locksmith or hardware store where they make keys, and check the blank in your lock first before cutting it.

Yep....
Match up the grooves (long cuts) on your original key.
Looks like the spare keys I bought for my LIKE200I.
Be aware that my pro lock shop refused to cut my new keys because they were not brass. Local hardware cut them for about $1.65 ea. !

He always did grump on a good day....then I rolled this killer Kymco key blank under his bunk!
So I took them to Rod, at the 150yr old lumber yard/hardware store I've been going to for 29 yrs (I like to buy local when building for the county)
"Hey Art, howyudoon!?"
He's been calling me "Art" for a quarter century.  My name is not Art.....but I always liked doing business where they call me by my name when i walk in.....even if it's the wrong one! After a few yrs it would have been embarrassing to both of us to set him straight...know what I mean? (my daughter says my signature is so bizarre it could be just about any name ) (signing all those purchase order receipts for Rod)

Oh yeah....these key blanks are steel.....(I think the Chinese are saving their brass for missle tips for Taiwan)
Rod cuts 'em for $1.60......and they work just fine.

So I have an email out to Scooterwest to see if some of the keys they have there (for relatively cheap) would work. 

Backstory to the key problem:  I found recently that my key has been harder to turn in my ignition.  Upon inspection I found that the key was very warped.  Thinking it was a key problem, I switched to my spare which worked wonderfully...until I opened my underseat storage a few times.  I have found that the tumbler/lock shifts and does not move properly, preventing me from opening the underseat area consistently without putting to much pressure on the key, bending it.  I plan to pull out the seat bucket this weekend to have a look to see if I can easily fix it.  Otherwise I need to be cautious and open that area as little as possible.

Has anyone else had this problem?
