This morning at "T.H." (code so don't get anyone in trouble) the young fellow told me not to worry about paying for my coffee.
This is three mornings in a row they have gently refused to take my $.
Thinking maybe they didn't have their cash drawer set yet....I tried twice ea. time to pay.
This morning the night manager came over to the register, while the youngster was getting me my coffee...and explained, " We heard what that guy said to you last Friday. You come here all the time on your scooter. You don't bother anyone and you leave your change in our tip jar....."
I interrupted him.
Told him not to worry about the situation. " Some sad people hate to see others having a good time. "
"You guys have good coffee and a place for me to watch the sunrise over my scooter!
I'm not going away because of him."
He said they'd take my $ again starting tomorrow.
I'll be darn...
(well heck....isn't anyplace 'round here that has good fresh coffee at 0'Dark:30. Where else am I gonna go!):-)

PS: The LIKE200I did one of those start "hesitations" when I rolled it out this morning.
The pistons of that big hemi engine must have been sleeping on their power stroke!
No worries. ...this thing NEVER fails to push on through and start. (unless I've tripped the kill switch.) (....3X)

Maybe it is too early for yer scoot. Try the trip to "TH" an hour later.....
