Title: Knocking/weird sound - high speed

Hello,

I have a problem with my Super 8 50 2t when i go 55kmh (34mph) it start making weird sound. It sound like knocking. I brought new variator mallosi and now I can go 65 - 70 kmh (40 - 43 mph) but this knocking sound start again. Please can someone tell me what it can be? Thanks

Might be hitting the rev limiter, do you have a factory cdi?

Try putting it on the center stand and running the rpms up and listen for the noise. Of course, make sure the rear wheel stays off the ground. May help you pinpoint the location of where it is coming from.
