Title: DT300i under seat light addition
Post by: CROSSBOLT on July 01, 2016, 03:33:58 AM
Got this light at Bass Pro for about 10 bucks, wired it in parallel with existing light:(http://i1309.photobucket.com/albums/s640/CROSSBOLT1/gopr0014_zpsrmdmd9wy.jpg) (http://s1309.photobucket.com/user/CROSSBOLT1/media/gopr0014_zpsrmdmd9wy.jpg.html)

I actually detached the under seat light. I rarely really need it. I did this because I'm always afraid that it's gonna drain my battery. Maybe I'm wrong, but it makes me feel more relaxed, especially on a long trips.

The stock light is so low, in the tub, always getting covered by something. I velcroed a led light that I got from harbor freight, it's battery operated, so don't have to worry about draining the battery.
Hey Karl, I see that you are able to post pictures now, way to go

Thanks, Pip. Probably won't be able to repeat it! Got lucky....     Yeah, it's crazy about the tub light being so low to be useless. This is what they should have done. I used some battery LED lights in the old DT but the heat softened the stickum and they fell off.
