Left a note on the coffee table.
Staying down here in Scooter Land (Florida).
Got a job barking for the Yak Lady in the circus so supporting my daughter and the puppy should be no problem.
Will post when I can

You can come to Tallahassee, as the capital of the state, we have a constant circus . Especially with our beloved Gov. Scott. [emoji23][emoji23].
I'm done. Enough politics for today. I don't like to start trouble.[emoji56][emoji56]But I couldn't resist. [emoji849]

Florida has some of the worst drivers in the USA. Everyone is from somewhere else on vacation and don't know where they're going. They'll pull U turns unannounced. I should know as I did it too the last time I was in Orlando.

Yes, I WISH you all would just give us your tourism dollars without actually coming here and clogging our streets. (Just kidding) .
Don't feel guilty for your u-turn Scooter Dan. Visitors in tourism towns drive great compared to how the STUDENTS in the college towns such as Gainsville and Tallahassee drive.

First visit here I spotted Duncan D shop on the way in from the airport. Good coffee (2nd only to Tim's.)
Pulling out of DD the next morning in the dark...made a left onto the blvd. Wow....glad I was in a Tahoe!
Who put the landscaped islands in these streets!!??
The Tahoe vaulted nicely...but noisily. ..that obstacle.
Family came down from the condo after sunrise for some touring.
Mrs Stig asked, "Who put the hibiscus blossoms in the grill of the car!?"
Stig: "You know how they give you a lei when you land in Hawaii? ....Here National puts hibiscus in the grill of rental cars. Cool, huh?"
Mostly true story...

Ps: 8 u-ies and counting.

As for tourists driving crazily.....
Today my mother gave me these directions on our way to my Dad's plot at the military cemetery. ...in very heavy traffic.
" Make a left where your Father used to play bridge."
"What?!!"
The defence rests.
Stig....visiting his 89 yr old mom.

That compares to the way we give directions in the rural areas of north Florida/South Georgia: " When you get to where that big oak tree USED TO be, make a right"

Here in N. Ga. we say "make a right 2 miles before road ends."

We in the Deep South tend to give directions as if everyone is already from around here.

Yep. Great place to live. But a terrible place to get directions.
