 :(Has anyone found a way to mount a gps or cell phone on the handlebars.

A simpler method that does not involve welding & the Givi windscreen that you see in the picture would be to take a GPS mount and glue it to the plastic covering the handlebars and or use pop rivets to mount a bracket to the plastic.
