Title: Just bought a new 2013
Post by: b4cz28 on June 04, 2016, 05:57:23 AM
Hello fellow scooters,

Well thanks to this wonderful forum I purchased a brand new 2013 GTI 300 a few days ago. I'm crazy happy with it and keep walking out to look at it. It's a very fast bike. Dealer had an unsold 2013 with 1 mile on it so he sold it to me for $2,900 with a full 2 year warranty. Do yall think that was a good deal?

You basically got a brand new scooter, for almost half the price of a new one. Considering the quality of Kymco products, I would say you got a great deal

Well I have to say it's a huge step up from my Ruckus and it's seems much higher quality as well. After seeing a Kymco at the Dealer I came home and read a lot here. It's truly a first their machine and even my son who rides a Grom noticed how solid the build quality is. Might be a bit to fast and that scares me. I been having to pay close attention to my speed.

You are correct, they do have some power. Just take it easy, at least until you get a good feel for it. It should provide you with much fun and enjoyment. I still get excited, when I take the Downtown out!! Be safe.

Congrats. You stole it! I paid $4700.00 for my 2012 in Silver. I can't see selling mine for @ least the next 5 years (or longer) It's a perfect balance between weight & power, yet it's still fairly nimble. I don't put a lot of miles on my GT300i, but I have a blast when I take her out. Nice job.

The fit & finish is outstanding on the models that are made in Taiwan.

Never heard of a new GTI selling that low.

They have one more...if I'd have pushed I'd got the $250 freight and assm fee waved
