i have seen some sort of cover on the fan shroud of a scoot. it fits right over the opening for the fan, curves a bit to force air? into cooling chamber. on my zx there are even 2 bolt/screw holes around the opening to the chamber (the shroud itself). where does a man find one of those?... seems like it would help keep her alot cooler..., looks pretty cool too, like a ram air induction for 2t's

I didn't look but I would try scooter assassins, and Jiangwayne. They do work

like a ram air induction for 2t's
..kinda...but it can be done...
..btw...blown air 3.0 is coming...
..ordered me 3 jets to play with...
..these are of different dimensions than my oem carb had...

The bat is refering to a cowl that fits over the intake side of the fan. It directs the air at speed, and cleans up the flow to make the intake more efficient. Many factory scoots also use ducts running to the base of the front plastics.

yeah, its gotta help, cuz i know my zx gets hot as hell.... i think the zx should have one... i gotta find one of those

I was just wondering what else you might scoop up besides air as you traveled forward, like bugs, gravel, small birds etc., and if they could cause a problem.
-
You could always add a small tap... Like the Jack LaLane Juicer. Scootin now becomes healthy
-
...bugs and gravel migt be ok, but small birds would definately make a mess... :-\

the whole thing is only a few inches long with a semi bend.. its not a "pooper scooper"... lmao.. even tho that would be a cold air intake persey..!! lmao
