Title: odometer counting fast, which means lower than expected gas mileage.

Anybody notice this? I'm talking going 40 real miles, and odometer counts it around 60

...wow......that's a drastic difference..

..are you sure the odometer isn't countin kilometers?

..40 miles is equal to 64.373 km....

..i think the odometer in the Xc500 has the ability to display either miles or kilometers...

..if it's digital...

..could be wrong, but kinda remember reading that somewhere in here..

It's digital and circles by pushing the mode button between kilometres/miles and total/trip.
And it shows the actual mode in the display too.
