I had just completed 5 fun hours installing sliders on the Burgman. ...crawling on the garage floor looking for some one or thing to help me stand up.....when "Neighbor With Two LIKE200i's" walked up my drive.
He said the battery that I gave him was dead...charged all night...dead.
And he was having trouble hooking up the new battery he bought.
Shoot....I have another perfectly good YUASA I'd have given him!!
Yeah those battery nuts can be a pain. I grabbed a screwdriver and headed over.
1) I put my battery in his OTHER LIKE200I. ..not this dead one!
2) Hooked up his new battery.
3) dead scooter
4) checked fuses....blown 15amp fuse
5) Kymco supplies two spare fuses....neither are 15's !! (Member here pointed that out a few mos ago ....so I bought two from ebay)
6) I get one of my fuses....starts INSTANTLY....don't we love that about these LIKE200I's !!! o
7) suspect reason battery charger didn't work = blown fuse....or hooked up wrong ...or crossed leads withnew battery.....or wrong charger type....or....
In any event here he comes giving me another battery. Now have ....all charged with no issues.
Reminded him where dipsticks are....and when ready for oils or valves come see me....work for free if he buys oils.
I was pooped after more time on knees.

Three. I have three good batteries for a LIKE200I.
Three! All YUASA's. Crazy....losing track how this happened!
Pretty sure I didn't steal them......
Or did I ?
3 senior moments? Or just ONE rampaging night at scooter lot?
Where's this lot full of scooters?

;D ;D ;D ! LOCAL SCOOTER GURU REQUESTS ASSISTANCE! Kinda like "He's fallen and can't get up!" only he has no LifeAlert thingy..... I feel your pain, Stig. Almost daily. Now about those batteries......

This weekend I'm changing the oil on my Like. Rather than get my hands dirty I think I'll call Stig. :o
