Hey there, so my buddy gave me his 2007 Kymco 250 people with 17k miles on it. Had for about 2 weeks from the shop, then it stopped...ran out of coolant. I'm wondering if its worth paying to fix it, my scooter store in south philly pretty much the only scooter store in philly said about $1000 to fix. That seemed quite high.
Thanks for thoughts and if theres any interest in purchasing please let me know.

That's a no brainer. Cost to fix exceeds value. Part it out.

$1000 might not be terrible for that bike if it's the only problem.
Most likely the problem with it is labor-intensive to fix (thus the high cost), and there's no getting around that. Unless you can do the work yourself.

Sounds like something you need to get rid of, unless your are a very patient and knowledgeable scooter mechanic. Just my opinion.

1000 to have a good running scooter that's less than I paid for my 2009 people 250s with the left blinker broke off and bad front tire and now that it's running and legal it be very hard for me to part with good luck
