Title: Loose bolts on new machines
Post by: CROSSBOLT on May 20, 2016, 05:16:46 PM: This topic has been well addressed on this forum but here it is again for emphasis! Get the blue Loctite and put it on the muffler heat shields' bolts! Now! New DT300i bolts barely over finger tight. Holds even with the heat.

drinking Old Turkey like Troutbum.
Early on I bought a several pound box of hardware & hoses stripped from a LIKE200i.
Have used 1 or 2 so far.
Most of the fasteners on my scoot have been so blasted tight I had to buy the correct tool to remove them!
