If money was no object and you could have any scooter/bike you'd want; what would it be? Saw this little beauty FS on Dallas CL. I'm drooling all over this yellow banana.

A DT300i with about 2" more between the front of the floor to the back of the operator's seat! All LED lights except headlight.

For production scoots, I would look hard at these three:
Kymco GT300i
Honda SH 300
Piaggio BV 350
Vespa 300 Super
Problem is, three of the four above are not available to me. No dealers, or not
available in the USA.

I'd stick with my Dt300. Plenty of acceleration, plus love the handling!! If I was feeling a little crazy, might move up to an xciting 500, but don't know if they still offer them. I guess I'm just a Kymco guy

At this time I'd have to say I think I would like a BMW K1600 GT/GTL but I wouldn't give up my scooters. Ideally I would like a collection, Helix (my first bikes), Silverwing, Tmax, Morphous (maybe), Burgman 650 (already have), MyRoad (already have), Gilera GP 800 (maybe), and possibly a few others not sold here

I just can't settle on one. For a bike it's the BMW R 1200 RT. For a scooter it's the Vespa GTS 300 ABS.

Malaguti 2 strokes are a blast. Ive had a few 50cc's. Id like to have the newest, top of the line Malaguti and go buy it in person in Bologna Italy. How fun. (pic is of wifes 05' Malaguti Yesterday)

There are a couple of scooters I would have it money was no object;
BMW C650 Sports for touring, a Piaggio Medley 150 for city riding and whilst it is not a scooter I would also love to have a Ducati Scrambler 62 as I find it to be a great looking bike.

No object? I might get one of the new Cushman scooters with the subaru motor, maybe. Impractical but interesting. And the motor should last about half of forever if taken care of. I don't know if I'd want to ride it all the time, though.
otherwise, and probably first, a Honda NM4. Yeah I said it, it's a scooter.

I have a confession to make and that is that I've found my Dream Scooter and I own it too, a Honda Silverwing ABS. After being out of the saddle for a bit and riding my new Kymco BW, I realize after a recent ride, that there's probably not a finer, simpler, more powerful and maintenance free scooter as the Silverwing. It's equally at home scooting around town as it is to cruise down the state highways and interstate at supersonic speed. The power is akin to a sports bike and even though a bit heavy at 550 pounds it's still 100 pounds lighter than my Burgman and I find it very flickable and agile at low speed. With the addition of the 46 liter Givi top box and underseat storage it has similar storage to a Goldwing for touring. My wife and I ride 2up and it's more comfortable for Deb as the Burgman was much wider at the back end which spread her hips when riding and became very uncomfortable. I'm really jazzed that I finally got one a few years ago and my humble opinion is that it's one of the finest Maxi Scooters ever made. I'm really proud to have this pony in my stable.

Of all the scooters I've owned and ridden over the year, I'd have to rate the Silver wing as number one. I love the DT300i that I have now, but it's more like a downsized version of a Silver wing. I've ridden my Wings all over this country. Fine touring bike. The one thing I really miss on the DT that the Wing had is the Parking brake.

That's a good looking SW Mac with Corbin seat. My seat is a Saddleman and extremely comfortable. Having owned both Burgman 650's and 400, I have to say the SW is my favorite too. Took me quite a few bikes to discover that though. I love both styles of scooters, the Kymco BW and the SW. One's my go to town and hang out scooter and the SW, my touring and 2up bike.
I like the look of the DT Mac and think it's perhaps Kymco's nicest and finest. A good compromise between the 600cc Maxiscooters and the smaller urban scoots. That's a nice sweet spot for scooters in the 300cc lineup like the Honda Forza that Stig had.
