According to the service manual the 163cc LIKE200i makes just under 11HP at a max engine speed of 7500RPM.
One of the reasons that I change the oil in my 2012 LIKE200i so often is because I regularly see 7000+RPM from my aircooled engine on my rides - and I'm never going much more than about 45 mph (actual)
Today I parked and saw that I had reached 7,280 RPM on my tach....which must have been on the uphill 40mph climb.
At less than a Qt. of good oil, 600-800 mile oil changes are not a deal-breaker for me. On a Burgman 400, 7500 RPM would equal 75+ mph.
On a down hill section of highway the LIKE engine will probably get to 8000+ rpms.
Of course, the figures which I am getting may be related to the Dr Pulley sliders I installed thousands of miles ago. I do remember that I quickly went to heavier sliders because I did not like the increased rpms at low ground speeds from the first set. (people do that to get better acceleration. higher rpms = +acceleration)
I was after the "incredible smoothness" that come from Dr Pulley sliders according to several members, not more acceleration. My drive train is very smooth - no clutch chatter or engine vibes bothering the ride, while the acceleration is perfectly adequate for me - one who does not stress the drive train of any vehicle.

I'll change oil every 300 miles if it would make my belt last longer. Ha, ha, ha,. 100 bucks a pop gets old quick.

Redline is factored into a safety #, it's not exact. In mfg a product like wire rope, 5/16ths is rated at 3400 lbs of pull capacity. The breaking point is rated at 12,000 lbs of pull, just sayin.

9800rpm on the Like 50 with the upgrades I have =60mph and I never have to change engine oil. . . just have to keep adding it. . . lol

Oil is cheap for the DIY owner, even Royal Purple at nearly 10 bucks for the one quart. Tom, I've been changing the oil on the P200 at 300 miles also but may stretch it to 500 with the synthetic. That is, if I don't sell it soon.

Recently shopping for a new gas lawn mower - found some that were "never change the oil" models. Just check and add. Weird!

Sounds like a disposable mower to me.
