Hello everyone,i am approaching 7,000 miles on my 2009 xciting ri. I just fitted new city grips,changed oil and filter. Do i need to inspect that belt yet? If not..at what mileage do you recommend that. I cant locate my owners manual. Thank you for your help. I hope everyone stays safe and happy scootin to ya...

My cyclepedia manual says to inspect at 12000 and 24000 miles.
Lists drive belt width at 28.9mm and a service limit at 27.9mm

My first belt lasted over 30,000 mile. But all I do is tour. I would not recommend doing this much miles on the belt if you do very much city driving. I think 25,000 is a good time to replace. You can also pop off the varator cover and measure the width. :-*
