Scooters - 125 to 300 => LIKE 200i => Topic started by: Stig / Major Tom on April 29, 2016, 01:18:00 AM

I ask this because I am not seeing a LIKE of any size engine (50, 125 or 163cc's) on the latest KYMCO Taiwanese home web site.
Have they stopped producing the LIKE - although there are probably dealers selling a "new, 2016 LIKE" with a 2015 manufacture date.
The LIKE was first introduced to the USA in 2009. I am not sure when this scooter was introduced on the world market.
It was made in at least 4 different engines : a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke 50cc; a 125cc 4 stroke and a 163cc 4 stroke.
So, after a model run of at least 7 years - has KYMCO ceased production of these scooters?
Anyone with a production sticker/birth-date after 2015?

July, 2015, is the date of manufacture for my "2016" Like 200i. As Stig pointed out elsewhere, the badge with that info is underneath the right side cowl. If you lay on your back under the scooter while it's on the center stand, it's easy to see.
