Dr. Pulley 16x13 Sliding Roller Weights 6 Gram vs. HIGH PERFORMANCE VARIATOR 5GR,what are the different, and which best for my super 9 50cc, I took a look of my variator, it have 2 different set weight 3black x3brown, when I ride my scooter the rpm max out 10k, speed 30 to 40 mph max speed, any advice thank

I think 5 to 6g sliders are too light, will compromise top speed.  My CVT has Malossi Variator, 7.5g Dr Pulley sliders, Malossi Torque Driver, Malossi Green Torque spring, OEM fly springs, and works awesome.  CVT take awhile to tune, so be patient and only change one component at a time.  Read up on CVT if you don't totally understand how they work, there is lots of good info on web.  Cheers

Setup will vary depending the rider weight and what's done to the scooter. Stock weights are 8.5g, which I think were great for me at a bit less than 200 pounds. Maybe 8g wouldn't be bad for me.
