Title: Load Capacity of an Agility 125 ?
Post by: Ryokanfan on April 26, 2016, 05:33:30 PM
Hello folks,

I was wondering does anyone here know the max load capacity of the Agility 125 ? Found an old manual that quotes 259kg. But wanted to be sure about it.

Cheers !  8)

I have a new 2014 Agility 125 and my manual states the same.I'm not sure if that number includes the weight of the scooter.I've wondered about that myself.

You must subtract wet weight of scooter from these figures.
NO scooter that size can carry 500 lbs......most can safely carry no more than 300 or so.
Find sticker on scooter. ...see gross vehicle weight permitted on each tire.....add together and see manual for scooter weight to subtract ftom thst gross weight.
Many motorcycles are rated in mid 300's....in spite of the weight put on them.

259 kg is most likely the gross vehicle weight rating. That equals to about 570 lbs. 570 lbs less the scooter weight of 360 lbs gives you a maximum load weight of around 335 lbs or 152 kg. Hope that made sense.  ???
